Ofsted and Performance
How good is our school?
Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They report directly to Parliament and are independent and impartial. They inspect and regulate services which care for children and young people, and those providing education and skills for learners of all ages. Wimborne First School had it last big inspection in February 2015 when our school was rated as Good.
We had a short inspection in February 2019, the results of which can be found on the Ofsted website, along with previous reports.

Parent View gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think about your child’s school, from the quality of teaching to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour. The survey can be completed at any time; you don’t have to wait until the school is being inspected.
